sugar plant / dryfruit 2018 remaster cassette with DL code

The 2000 masterpiece dryfruit by Sugar Plant, Japan's proud originators of shoegaze and dream pop, has been reissued on cassette, with the sound source remastered in 2018.

Engineered by Naoyuki Uchida, the stripped-down performances and simple arrangements have a unique sound and a deeper sense of space. At the time of release, the album was described as a psychedelic sherday and a European edition was released on a German label. It also includes two dub mixes by Naoyuki Uchida, which were attached exclusively to the original release.
