Marking 30 years since their album debut in 1995, sugar plant have spent 2025 celebrating their anniversary with a series of carefully curated releases, including a newly remastered edition of their 1996 classic after after hours and a special rise / happy single reinterpreted by Tokyo-based dub band Inokasira Rangers. Now, the final chapter of their 30th anniversary arrives with a brand-new album.
In recent years, sugar plant’s monthly listeners on Spotify have grown rapidly, driven largely by a new generation of listeners in their 20s and 30s across North America and Europe.
